BIOTEL is a unique enhanced aerobic digestion technology developed to overcome the problems with existing digestion technology. BIOTEL is a 3 stage mesophilic and thermophilic digester batch digester specially developed to treat a wide range of food waste. 12 years of development into mixing, aeration, reactor design and biological parameters have resulted 300% improvements in throughput. BIOTEL processes selected food residues nutrients to create organic high yield fertilisers of known nutrient content and release properties. DEFRA approved since 2003 - Products are treated to in excess of ABPR and PAS110. Renewable energy is produced as 70 degree C heat suitable for use in heat distribution networks. Typically 25% of the footprint of traditional anaerobic digesters BIOTEL will fit into standard industrial units without complex planning or permitting issues. |
